Interview with Novelist Rick Bava (In Search of the Baby Boomer Generation)

“In Search of the Baby Boomer Generation,” by Rick Bava, is an intriguing look at one of the most interesting generations in American history. Rick Bava traveled the country for two years seeking the thoughts, opinions, and ideas of Baby Boomers from all walks of life and socioeconomic classes to create this inspiring commentary about the Baby Boomer Generation. The author, himself a Baby Boomer, brings his own unique experience to the book, as well as capturing the stories and perspectives of the hundreds of Baby Boomers he interviewed.

Interview with Novelist Maurice M. McKiernan (Manuscripts of the Macabre)

Maurice M. McKiernan is a right-brained individual with a propensity for all things artistic. He began piano lessons at age four, and soon began performing in recitals and competitions, eventually recording eight music albums. Maurice attended Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis, where he was named a “Top 100 Student” of the college and graduated with a degree in philosophy.… Continue reading Interview with Novelist Maurice M. Interview with Novelist Chris Rose (Wood, Talc and Mr. J.)

Well, I don’t write about vampires, demons, things paranormal, or necessarily anything out-of-the-ordinary. In other words, I love to bring the everyday ordinary to life, that people can relate to, hear, smell, taste. I pride myself on that, actually – I love it when people tell me: Your characters jump of the page. I know it’s a bit of a cliché, but that’s what I aim to do…

Interview with Novelist Elizabeth Good (Trampled Underfoot, Just Another Sunday)

The theme of both of my novels is the delicate interplay of Fate and Freewill choices when it comes to our Life’s journey. Where we ultimately end up as an adult is a combination of both fate and freewill.

The tone of my novels is dramatic. There is some levity here and there but these two stories are complex dramas. Just Another Sunday is a Coming-of-Age, family drama. And the follow-up book, entitled Trampled Underfoot, is more of a Romantic, New Adult, family drama.

Interview with Novelist Bev Stout (Secrets of the Realm)

It will transport you into a not-so-gentle world of tall ships and fine manor homes. The cast of characters will keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat. Secrets of the Realm is an adventurous tale of Annie Moore, a stubborn eighteenth century girl, who is blamed for her uncle’s death. This fifteen-year-old will make you laugh. She will make you cry. Sometimes, she will even make you angry, but you will never give up on Annie and her quest for a better life.

Interview with Novelist Karl Wiggins (Goodnight and Thanks for the Vodka)

One of the unusual aspects of the Harpies is that each novel is standalone but runs for exactly one year from the 1st January to the 31st December. Harpie is infuriating, funny, determined. She’s as hard as the men I go drinking with and softer than my three year-old daughter. The first question I’m usually asked is: Is Harpie real? That’s a secret that I’ll take to my grave—but to me she is.

Interview with Novelist Russel Lazega (Managing Bubbie)

Managing Bubbie is Lazega’s first foray into creative nonfiction. When he is not writing, or chasing after a pair of fire-breathing, house-wrecking T. rexes impersonating small children, the author can be found kayaking the waterways of South Florida, venturing as far as the tide will take him from his loving, but indescribably overbearing, family.
