Unexpected and intriguing.
What movie have you seen the most in your life?
Shawshank Redemption.
How long have you been working on this story?
It was written in 30 min in Chinese 2 years ago and it took me about an hour to translate into English for this festival.
Do you have an all-time favorite novel?
Fight Club.
What motivated you to write this story?
I saw these adorable twin boys at a diner and wondered what would happen if they both grew up to be heartthrobs.
What artist would you love to have dinner with?
Kevin Smith.
Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
I’m a stand-up comedian!
What influenced you to enter the 1pg. Short Story contest?
I feel like an 1-page short story is like a photograph. If it’s done well, the readers would get a glimpse of a world and leave wanting to know more.
Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
If you enjoyed the writing process, you’ve succeeded.
