P. S. Winn has written 35 books @ author.to/PSWinnbooks
Interview with P.S. Winn:
Matthew Toffolo: What is the general theme and tone of your novel?
P.S. Winn: Correlations is a murder mystery with a paranormal twist and looks how everything in life is related to other things.
For Lacey horror of her past is in direct correlation with the things happening today.
MT: Why should people buy your novel?
PSW: I would love readers to feel by picking up one of my books, this or one of the other 34, they will be taken on a journey and share the dreams and nightmares i have and then put on paper, which I do longhand before I sit down to type.
MT: How would you describe your novels in just two words?
PSW: reader friendly
MT: What movie have you seen the most in your life?
PSW: Wizard of Oz
MT: Was being a novel writer something you’ve always dreamed of doing?
PSW: I’ve always dreamed of writing, not necessarily a novel, I used to only write poems and short stories.
I began publishing in October of 2012 and now have thirty five books published.
MT: Do you have an all-time favorite novel? Have you read a novel more than once?
PSW: I have a lot of all time favorites, but the author’s i read over and over, even the same book, are King, Koontz, Dickens and Steinbeck.
MT: What motivates you to write?
PSW: Everything, I seem to look at the world at a different angle, for me an empty railroad car holds a werewolf or an abandoned building holds the opening to a parallel world. I also pick up a lot of ideas from not just dreams, but that place you find yourself just between awake and asleep.
MT: What artist would you love to have dinner with?
PSW: As an author, it would be Stephen King, as an inventor, Tesla.
MT: Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
PSW: I love to draw and paint pictures, I have done three or four of my book covers. I also have seven children and eighteen grandchildren and it is for them write the preschool and young adult to go along with the adult novels.
MT: Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
PSW: If you enjoy writing, just do it and don’t let any one tell you how to write or what to write. Read anything and everything and think how you could improve it or where you would have taken that story.
