Logline: Santa 17 is a novel that tells an alternative Santa story. Instead of one Santa, there is an army of Santas who serve as the front men for the elves who actually run the entire operation. We follow Santa 17 as he is recruited by one of the top recruiters from Elf Central; goes for training at the North Pole along with nineteen other Santa candidates: and serves his probationary period until his first Christmas Eve. Thrill as he thwarts the abduction of a child from The Garden State Plaza for which he finds himself interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres. Watch as he makes the dreams of children come true; visits St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital; and makes a commercial for a prominent jewelry retailer. All the while, he and his wife develop their relationship with the elves who provide guidance, health care and some playful hazing.
