Reviewed by Ray Simmons for Readers’ FavoriteFrom the Sky is a delightful young adult novel by J.E. Nicassio. This exciting book is a blend of government conspiracy novel and sci-fi with a strong element of romance. Samantha Hunter is a very wounded teenager. Her twin brother Finn is killed in a car accident one night and Sam is charged with driving while texting. Sam herself is almost killed in the accident and her mother dies soon after. Sam thinks this is all her fault and the guilt is tearing her apart. Sam and her dad need a change. They need a new lease on life so they move from Pennsylvania to New Mexico. But the past, particularly that fateful accident, follows Samantha to New Mexico in the form of Lucien Foster, a tall handsome boy that Sam finds herself drawn to despite her pain and guilt.
