A vampire that feels she doesn’t fit in.

How would you describe this story in two words?

Quirky vampire.

What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Blade Runner

How long have you been working on this story?

I had thought of the quirky vampire character some time ago and when I decided to enter the competition I thought this might be a good way to introduce her. It took me around 2 weeks to wite and edit the story.

Do you have an all-time favorite novel?

Red Dragon

What motivated you to write this story?

The idea of a quirky vampire appealed to me.

What artist would you love to have dinner with?

Vincent van Gogh.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

People, reading, movies, good food and travel.

What influenced you to enter the 1pg. Short Story contest?

I had been thinking of writing a series of short stories so when I read about the competition thought it might be a good idea to submit an entry.

Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

Write what appeals to you. Either the things that move or inspire you. Or make you laugh. Stamp your work with your own personal brand of drama or humour. That way you stand a chance of people getting you.
