YA

How would you describe this story in two words?

Alarmingly relevant

This is hard- I would have to say probably an animated Disney movie. Sleeping Beauty probably.

How long have you been working on this story?

I’ve been toying around with the idea for a month or so.

Do you have an all-time favorite novel?

This is so difficult. If I had to pick just one I would say Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister by Gregory Maguire.

We see so many stories in the news about bullies, kids committing suicide because of it. If I expand the story I would want to focus on the narrators consequences

Photography, news and politics

What influenced you to enter the 1pg. Short Story contest?

I thought it would be awesome to see my idea come to life.

Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

Write, every day. No idea is a bad idea. Always put yourself out there.
