lovemeifyoucanInterview with Shanice B.:

Matthew Toffolo: What is the general theme and tone of your novels?

Shanice B.: My theme is based upon relationships between a man and a woman. It also helps to encourage women that they don’t have to accept just anything from a man.

MT: Why should people buy your novels?

SB: Even though my novel is fiction, it’s still based on reality. It’s based on relationships in general. What should a woman/man do when a woman/man cheats on each other? Should he/she stay or should he/she leave? Should she/he listen to their heart or listen to their friends? My novels are based on the emotions that everyone have felt in their life. I believe almost every woman and man can relate to my books.

MT: How would you describe your novels in just two words?

SB: Truthful and steamy

MT: What movie have you seen the most in your life?

SB: Friday

MT: Was being a novel writer something you’ve always dreamed of doing?

SB: Yes, I have been writing since I was nine.

MT: Do you have an all-time favorite novel? Have you read a novel more than once?

SB: My favorite novel is My Husband’s Other Women by Regina Swanson. Yes, I have read a novel more than once.

MT: What motivates you to write?

SB: Life motivates me to write. Writing is my passion if I couldn’t write to express myself than I would be totally lost.

MT: What artist would you love to have dinner with?

SB: Lil’ Wayne

MT: Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

SB: I’m passionate about my family. They keep me motivated.

MT: Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

SB: My advice would be to never give up. Keep on trying and be the best writer that you can be.
