We have learnt to be alone without being lonely.
We have learnt to exit this belabored beehive
and rediscover the exotic honey of solitude.
We have learnt to perceive the scent of the airy fragrance
that pierces the shadows of the quiet nights
and to spot the shimmering diamonds
dotting the dimmed evening skies.
We have learnt to fly alone without losing sight
of the elements that point out our direction
and to let go what is not part of our journey.
There will always be a space in life when,
bereft of clusters of family and friends,
All is held in the enclave of stillness.
This rediscovery shall warm our spirit
tomorrow when fuzzy minds begin
to echo their broken thoughts back to us.
We have learnt to find happiness, not in them,
but in the innermost recesses of our heart
and to watch it blossom deep in our spirit.
