Read Poem: A burning heart, by Sandip Saha

You made me a friend
I asked will you be
my daughter

you said yes
I got a daughter
as well as a friend

the sun rises, hope begins
the earth is born
love blossoms

as a father
I was totally inert
like a hill in a desert

you were a sweet dream
I miss now all
your flavor

the sad sun
in the sky mourns
the lively earth is not there

to smoothen the heat life gives
who can stop the burning
of an isolated heart?
