Read Poem: A Testament to the Human Spirit, by Alex Phuong

Wandering child
Finding a way
Figuring out
What to say,
Sometimes afraid
Of what will happen today,
But no need to fear the unknown,
Only to look back
And realize
How much one has grown,
And cherishing the only life
That only oneself
Would ever own,
And the past has shown
The lifelong journey
Towards maturity,
And now use the present
To create a gift for the Earth
While understanding
The beauty of a personal soul
In a world that is truly whole,
And express gratitude
For the miracle of birth
With a hopeful attitude
To let the human spirit endure
While remaining simply pure
