RELATIONSHIP Poem: STONE WALL, by Van Ethan Levy

Milk, does the body good,.

Choking on another whyte savior.

As we Pay no Mind to Marsha, Silvia &

Every Black & Brown body that came before.

We exist, We Persist.

Consent is never an option

Rape

Murder

Torture

Abuse

Violence

Weaponized & gaslit to believe We are: Resilient, strong, brave…

Nah, we are barely surviving.

Conflating survival as reputable attributes to praise us to soothe your complacent guilt.

Our movement is Stonewalled, a Stormé, while they Miss Major.

Clinging to the peace of death.

It can’t come soon enough.

Knowing damn well, they will still misgender us after we are gone.

Fatal reality, this is bigger than Amerikkka
